About

Transient was started to create a space for poetry and visual art that examines the fleeting nature of beauty in our world— and how this impermanence can be simultaneously tragic and gorgeous. Work that comments on such dualities as darkness and light, love and loss, despair and joy, life and death, here and there. Let's talk about it all.
Artwork can be photography, paintings, digital art, collage, conceptual, sculpture and pretty much anything else. For poetry, traditional forms are always accepted, however, we gravitate more towards poems that use language in different ways; this includes approaches such as found, erasure, and visual poetics.
